What can I expect?

The Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership is a high-level qualification that will provide you with the opportunity to develop and implement business-critical strategies in a leadership role across a diverse range of industries. With this qualification, you will discover how to create and cultivate collaborative partnerships that support your business vision and grow internal and external relationships.

You will develop a strong understanding of operational processes through complex problem solving, planning and decision making. Leading with innovation, you will discover how to create and implement a strategic change strategy to pivot in changing economic climates.  

This qualification will provide you with a solid foundation to further your education with a bachelors or masters program at one of our partnering universities.

With a Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership, you will:

    Develop and lead a strategic transformation strategy that supports change in a dynamic context, including cultivating collaborative practices and reviewing strategic outcomes.

    Learn how to create, monitor and evaluate business continuity management strategies that will minimise disruptions to the business.

    Serve the mission and vision of your organisation through the development and execution of a high-level strategic plan through environmental analysis, the establishment of goals and the setting of key performance indicators, budgets and timelines.

Entry requirements

Diploma or Advanced Diploma with 3 years experience in a significant leadership position


Bachelor degree in related fields of study, 2 years full-time experience in a significant leadership position 


5 years of fulltime relevant workplace experience at a significant leadership position

You will be required to follow your training plan.  This will be discussed and agreed upon at induction. If you do not meet the obligation of the agreed timeframe, other charges may be applicable.  Maximum time frames are subject to volumes of learning and qualifications being superseded.

Further charges may be applied if student obligations are not met in accordance with the agreed timeframes stated in the student training plan, discussed and determined at induction. Maximum time frames are subject to recommended study load and potential nationally authorised changes to qualification criteria.

When we receive your application, we will send you an email regarding the pre-enrolment eligibility requirements, including a Language Literacy and Numeracy assessment, Recognition of Prior Learning application and an outline of documentation required for your enrolment to proceed.

Meet your mentor

We will call you to confirm details, discuss eligibility, workplace and assessment requirements and ensure everything is correct.

This interview forms part of your orientation into your course and will allow you to ask further questions.

You will then be required to make payment.

Once payment is received, we will then send you the Confirmation of Enrolment (COE). This Includes details of your Educator and your Training Plan outlining the units you are undertaking and due dates.

You will receive an email with your login details. Remember these details and bookmark the login URL in your browser. Logging in will give you access to your first unit in the online portal.

Debi left behind the arid deserts of the US and migrated to Australia in 1985. With her family, she made the sunshine, glitz and glamour of the Gold Coast her home in 1988 and worked with some of the Gold Coast’s biggest hotels.

Debi’s passion lies in supporting her students to learn the skills required to make epic career shifts. She has an intuitive knack for knowing exactly what a student needs when they’re struggling, and loves planting the seed of knowledge and watching it grow into great potential. Debi teaches our business, hospitality, and retail qualifications and does an amazing job, as her students’ successes show!

Anna wears many hats in our organisation, but the one she wears most is Education Manager, developing innovative programs that are interesting and tailored for the diverse learning needs of our students.
