Course Description: During this two day course, participants will achieve competency in: HLTFA301B Apply first aid HLTCPR201A Perform CPR HLTFA201A Provide basic emergency life support The course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, basic life support and management of the casualty, the incident and other first aid providers until medical and other assistance arrive. Duration: This is a two days, commencing at 9am and concluding at 3pm. Assessment: College Australia offers a hands on approach, with a very experience trainer and competency based training with progressive assessment throughout the course accompanied by multiple choice assessments. On successful completion of the first aid course participants will receive a statement of attainment which is valid for three years. Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines state HLTCPR201A Perform CPR Is required to be recertified annually. |
